Not Your Average Burger Burgers

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen, fully-cooked hamberger patties
  • 1 onion, sliced and sauteed
  • specialty mayonnaise-mustard spread
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup alfalfa or onion sprouts
  • 4 foccacia bread rolls, sliced

Instructions

Saute onion in 1 Tbsp. butter or oil. Cook burgers according to package directions. Place spred on bun.

Add a burger on the bottom half of bun. Top with avocado and onion slices, then 1/4 cup sprouts.

Cover with top half of bun.

Suggestions

Other ways to serve fully cooked burgers: green chilies and pepper-jack cheese pepperoni, mozzarella and pizza sauce chili and cheese on Texas toast sauteed mushrooms and onions with a slice of Havarti cheese
