Grilled Steak Pizza with Roasted Red Peppers and Feta Cheese Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sirloin steak
  • 1 prepared pizza crust
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 roasted red pepper, sliced very think
  • 1 can (2.25 oz.) sliced black olives
  • 4 oz. feta cheese, crumbled
  • pinch kosher salt or sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh oregano leaves

Instructions

Place steaks on grid over medium ash-covered coals (or medium high heat). Grill steaks uncovered 8-10 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once. Reduce heat to low.

Remove steaks from grill and slice crosswise into thin slices.

Arrange the roasted red peppers, sirloin slices, olives and feta cheese on top of the prepared pizza crust. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and olive oil. Place on the grill, close lid and cook 4-5 minutes until cheese is softened.

Using a long spatula, or two smaller ones, remove pizza from grill and sprinkle with oregano leaves. Cut into slices and serve.

Suggestions

Steak may also be prepared by stir frying: Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Stir fry beef 2-3 minutes (Do not overcook.). Remove from skillet, and continue as directed above.
