Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef round tip steak, cut 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 1-2 jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 Kaiser rolls, split
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato

Instructions

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion, jalapeno peppers and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove.

In same skillet, place beef steaks (half at a time); cook 1 to 2 minutes, turning once. Do not overcook.

Season with salt. Serve in rolls with onion mixture and tomato.
