Party Pear Salad Side Dishes

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mixed greens (or your favorite lettuce)
  • 1 red pear
  • 1 green pear
  • 1/2 cup craisins
  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts (optional)

Dressing

  • 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

Combine vinegar and sugar. Whisk oil into mixture and add salt and pepper. Set aside.

Wash and thinly slice pears, leaving skin on. Place into dressing mixture to retain color until ready to use. Add craisins to soften.

Place 1 cup of lettuce on each plate. Top with dressing/fruit mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired.
