Ingredients
- 2 lbs. round, chuck or rump roast
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
- 1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
Instructions
Combine flour, salt and pepper. Apply to all sides of meat.
In large skillet or Dutch oven heat oil over medium-high heat; brown meat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours until meat is fork tender.
