Texas Roast Tenderloin Special Entertaining

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 lb.) beef tenderloin, trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Farenheit. Rub the tenderloin with olive oil. Sprinkle surface of roast with Italian seasoning and pepper.

Place roast in shallow roasting pan in preheated oven. Cook 45 to 50 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 145 degrees internal temperature.

Remove roast from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Allow the roast to rest 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.

Suggestions

This recipe also works well with a sirloin roast or a boneless ribeye roast.
