Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can (15-16 oz.) chili hot beans, drained
- 1 cup Southwestern-flavored cornbread stuffing mix
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 oz. jalepeno pepper cheese, shredded (1 cup)
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
Instructions
Heat oven to 375°F. Combine ground beef, beans, stuffing mix, lime juice and pepper in large bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Spread mixture evenly in 12-inch pizza ban.
Bake in 375°F oven 15 minutes to medium (160°F) doneness, until beef is not pink in center and juices show no pink color. Sprinkle with cheese, continue baking 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with green onions; cut into 3 wedges. Garnish with lime wedges, if desired.
Suggestions
For milder flavor, substitute mild or medium-hot chili beans.
