Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef top round steak, cut 1-inch thick
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp. each dried thyme leaves and paprika
- 1/2 tsp. each ground white, red and black pepper
Instructions
Combine garlic, thyme, paprika, and peppers; press evenly into both sides of beef steak.
Place steak on grid over medium coals. Grill steak 12 to 14 minutes for rare (140°F) to medium (160°F), turning once. Season with salt, if desired. Carve steak diagonally into thin slices.

Serve with a steamed vegetable medley for a heart-healthy meal.
Tips from Our Cook
To peel garlic quickly, place clove in microwave on HIGH for 3 seconds. This will steam the skin and allow peel to come off easily.
